Warangal is one of the important districts of andhra Pradesh. It was the state of the Nizam's Government with the name of Hyderabad Deccan. A century ago the total populatiion of Warangal was about 25000. Among them 4000 were Muslims. the majority of Muslims was poor and illiterate. Most of them were engaged in the don'ts of islam. No sincere efforts were made to root out illiteracy and there was no organization to take care of the social problems of the inhabitants of Warangal. Allah, the Almighty singled out Syed Mohammad Quadri al-Hussaini, the learned Aalim of Warangal for the people of Warangal who was none other than the beloved student of Hazrat Moulana Anwarullah Khan Farooqui, the founder of world renowned Jamia Nizamia and the teacher os the rulers of the Royal family and the Minister of the religious affairs in the Nizam's Government.
Hazrat Syed Mohammad Hussaini accompanied his affectionate teacher Hazart Anwarullah Khan in his second Haj. After performing the Haj he remained in Makkah for two years being benefited bye the revered company of Hazrat Shan Imdadullah Muhajir Makki and then returned to his birth place Warangal to dedicate his remaining life for the betterment of the people of Warangal in general and Muslim community in particular.
Historical Background of the School
Trusting Allah, he founded"Islamia School" in Warangal on Monday the 16th Jamadi ul-Awwal 1308 Hijri corresponding to 14th Ramadan 1300 Fasli (1800 AD) with five students.
The first student to have the honour of enrolment was Moulvi Fakaruddin Sahib, better known as Dade Miyan.
