Welcome to Islamia Degree College

Islamia Arts & Science Collegeis minority institution established under Article 30 of the Constitution of India, which permits the establishment and administration of educational institutions by the minority communities. This pioneering institution is one of the oldest in the city and was established Hazrath Syed Mohammed Hussainin(peace be on his soul) in 1890 in Warangal, one of the districts of the Telangana State.

Initially, the institution was meant to impart studies in Theology and Oriental Learning, but soon it embraced the needs of changed conditions and offered courses that were in sync with modern education. With the unceasing efforts of those in the forefront of the administration, this Institution was upgraded to become a Degree College in 1973.
